The Telluride Art + Architecture Weekend is the ultimate home tour for the connoisseur. Linger at each venue for an intimate peek into the work of our local architects, designers, artists, and chefs who provide home tours, art exhibits, performances, and food and wine tastings at each stop on the tour.

Over the course of two days, the self-guided tour will span five different stops per day, ten over the weekend. The tour will include new and historic homes, and one creative venue daily. Each venue will feature home tours with on-site architects and designers, tastings by local chefs with wine pairings in the kitchen, and rooms featuring the works of local artists. SELF-GUIDED Telluride TOUR! This year for A+A, Katy has brought together a team of professionals to create a lookout tower inside the Transfer Warehouse. The tower was designed to reflect the magnitude and magic of the space, while allowing viewers to take a bird’s eye view inside and look over the walls of the Warehouse. The viewing site also mimics the rooftop deck which will be the crowning jewel atop the new Telluride Transfer Warehouse building which is set to be built inside the historic walls.

Twenty(by)Telluride is a lively, casual event that offers an intimate glimpse into Telluride’s creative talent through very fast-paced slide presentations.  Presenters are challenged to share what makes them tick—their inspiration, their creative process, their passions, their muse. Each presenter has exactly twenty slides and each slide is shown for exactly twenty seconds, challenging the presenters to be precise. The whole event is less than one hour, and it’s really fun.

In 2018, Twenty(by)Telluride will profile the creative people involved with some of the great local institutions that make Telluride an thriving, world-class Arts District.  Twenty(by)Telluride is a program of Telluride Arts, advancing a culture of the arts within the Telluride Arts District.

What began as a group of crochet loving friends just chillin’ out maxin’ relaxin’ all cool and shooting some b-ball outside of the school has transformed into a fiber arts hydra capable of putting together large-scale projects, international art shows, and installations. Also, they’re fun at parties.
